Biography

Mr. Rajeev Yadav brings three decades of experience in Banking, Credit and Financial Services. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

He led Fincare Small Finance Bank as MD & CEO between 2017–2024, growing the Bank 9x to an AUM of over ₹14,000 crores and serving 5 million customers. The Bank diversified into Secured Business Loans, Affordable Housing, Gold Loans and Microfinance, and was recognised for best-in-class Tech & Digital initiatives in Risk Management, Underwriting and Compliance.

Prior to this, he led Fincare-Disha (2012–2017), a PE-backed platform, playing a pivotal role in resolving the AP microfinance crisis and converting the entity into Fincare Small Finance Bank. Post the Fincare–AU Small Finance Bank merger (2024–2025), he served as Deputy CEO, overseeing Technology and erstwhile Fincare businesses.

Earlier, Mr. Yadav served with GE Money and GE Capital India (1999 – 2012), culminating as CEO of GE Money Financial Services and GE Money Housing Finance. He began his career at Cadence India and Motorola.
